 NGOS support PNTR & WTO for Vietnam.
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) was first developed in 1920 to be the relief, development and peace committee of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches in the United States. MCC seeks to demonstrate God's love by working among people suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disaster. MCC started its operation in Vietnam in 1945 through its humanity and development aids. MCC currently focuses on education and training projects in Vietnam’s rural areas.

As agreed in the Executive Committee meeting of the WPC in Larnaca, Cyprus in March 2005, the World Peace Council organized together with the Vietnam Peace Committee an International event dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the founding of WPC since Warsaw 1950.
